'A is for Adolf: Teaching German Children Nazi Values'
We are delighted to announce the opening of The Wiener Library's first ever exhibition, 'A is for Adolf: Teaching German Children Nazi Values'. The exhibition will include items from the Library's unique collection of children's books, games and toys, and will aim to illustrate the depth and intensity of propaganda targeted at young children under the Nazi regime.
The exhibition has been made possible thanks to the support of the Heritage Lottery Fund, the Ernest Hecht Charitable Foundation and the opportunities provided by our new premises in Russell Square. This exhibition is the first of a series of planned temporary exhibitions, which aim to inform and challenge, opening up our collections to new and larger audiences.
The exhibition will run from Friday 2nd December and will remain open, free of charge, during the Library's normal opening hours through to March 2012.
